| In 2001 I initiated a documentary study of the Brigham and Womens Harvard Vanguard Harvard Pilgrim collaborative primary care residency program. Each year I document students during their outpatient rotation months as they develop and maintain their own practice. I am offered close access to photograph the physicians during outpatient appointments, observe training with preceptors in rehabilitation centers, and accompany them during home visits. This project has instilled in me a new appreciation for the compassionate eye and comforting hand. | | |
